The Luxury Dream Clean was born when I realised there was a gap in the cleaning industry. There are a lot of cleaning businesses who are unreliable, have no cleaning experience, don't have an eye for detail and do the absolute bare minimum.
I had my first child and started cleaning casually as I wanted to have flexible work rather than go back to my full time corporate job. I always loved cleaning from a very young age and wanted to work doing something I enjoyed. The business I was working for was extremely unprofessional and did not priortise the customers in any way. My husband kept nudging me to start my own business but it seemed daunting. I had always wanted to have my own business. I had completed a double diploma in business and was a business development manager but felt it would be too much to manage with a baby.
After 6 months I quit and decided I was not going to work for someone who did not have an interest in doing the right thing by their clients. I went out on my own and I had a vision that I wanted to offer a different type of cleaning service. I wanted to offer people a luxury type of service where nice little extras are included in their cleans like air fresheners, carpet deodorisers, bin fresheners, toilet gel stamps, fixing little things in the home to make it look more presentable, essential oils and thank-you gifts. I wanted to provide a service that was different to other businesses and more personal. I wanted my clients to feel like their home was rejuvenated and refreshed after I had been there. I wanted people to get what they are paying for and I wanted to be different. After a lot of time invested in building the business and putting all my ideas together The Luxury Dream Clean came to life and has been happily servicing many homes making a positive impact and difference in peoples lives.
